Post title not to be confused with Charlie, Charlie, Are you there? (Google it.)
Nothing too exciting today. Just my Neulasta shot and acupuncture. But, a few things I didn’t mention yesterday (because the post was already hella long, and chemo ended so we had to leave.
Though I’ve posted pics with girlfriends who’ve visited me, I haven’t captured my most important cheerleader until today. My awesome husband (as opposed to my other, loser husband?), Adam. He’s not only my chemo chauffeur, but my rock, my partner in life, and one of the few who seem to find my cancer jokes funny. I guess we both have that morbid sense of humor. In fact, when his Uncle Pat had skin cancer and had to have part of his ear removed, we sent him the best gift – a Van Gogh coloring book. Thankfully, Pat and his wife Jan found it funny as well.Janet – Congratulations! You win the prize for keeping the best track of what # treatment I’m on! You’ve got it even better than one of my nurses yesterday. Yes, folks, I’ve successfully completed 3/6 of my chemo treatments. Take that, cancer!
Margo – no comments on the second post yesterday?
Special thanks to the best neighbor ever, Shari, for being my go-to gal to meet The Girl at the bus stop when I’m not home yet from various and sundry medical appointments.
